Next March the Scottish indie rockers will be playing their sophomore album in full.
The Midnight Organ Fight earned Frightened Rabbit a support slot on Death Cab For Cutie’s tour in 2008 and a spot on NME’s best albums of 2008 list. So what better way to celebrate than a tour to play the whole thing in full.
“This album holds a dear place in our collective heart. It was the one that allowed us to believe that we could do this band thing. Really do it. It’s the one that made the people in front of us SING. Really sing. It’s the album I still talk about most with people I meet at our shows. The wee bugger will not go away, and we are alright with that.” the band said in a statement.
Earlier this month the band unveiled Roadless, taken from a new EP Recorded Songs, and Frightened Rabbit shared new song Fields Of Wheat, with reference to Theresa May’s infamous interview remark.
Here are those dates:
15 March – O2 Ritz, Manchester
16 March – O2 Forum Kentish Town, London
17 March – O2Academy, Glasgow
