Country duo Walker McGuire to release new EP next week

The UK’s hottest new country music duo, Walker McGuire, will be releasing their self-titled debut EP this Friday.

After a smashing performance at last year’s Country Music Week in London, newcomers Walker McGuire (composed of Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire) are releasing their debut EP on 12 January via Wheelhouse Records (BBR/BMG). Just last month, the band shared their addictive new single Lost which gives a first taster of the new record.

The EP has a classic country feel to it, taking you right to that small town somewhere in the middle of Tennessee on a Friday night on the back of a pick-up truck with Walker McGuire playing on the radio – and it fits just right. On top of that, the debut holds tracks that will have you addicted in no time with its guitar-heavy sound and turn-it-up catchy vocals.

Guided by veteran producer Mickey Jack Cones (Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols), the five-track EP features debut single Til Tomorrow and recently released, super romantic Lost. In addition, party-starter track Best Kinda Bad, the introspective and lyrically ambitious Mysteries of the World, and a nostalgic tip of the hat to small town living with the wildly relatable 18 Forever.

EP track listing:
1) “Mysteries Of The World” (Johnny McGuire, Jordan Walker, Chris Dubois, Brent Anderson)
2) “Lost” (Jordan Walker, Justin Wilson, Kristian Bush)
3) “Til Tomorrow” (Jordan Walker, Johnny McGuire, Brian Carper, Trey Matthews)
4) “18 Forever” (Jordan Walker, Marc Beeson, Andrew Albert)
5) “Best Kinda Bad” (Jordan Walker, Johnny McGuire, Brian Carper)
