Megan O’Neill announces new album for June

The Americana singer-songwriter is set to release Ghost Of You on 8 June.

London-based, Irish singer-songwriter Megan O’Neill, who has captured the attention of media and listeners alike with her recent singles Ghost of You and Why I Need You, has confirmed release of her debut full-length solo album Ghost of You for 8 June.

Available to pre-order now, the album includes new single Without, which was co-written by O’Neill in Nashville last year with Jeff Cohen (Sugarland, The Band Perry, Big & Rich) and Victoria Banks (Lauren Alaina, Sara Evans, The Shires). In her own words, Megan says: “I feel like this is probably the most straight modern country track on the album – fun loving and a good one to dance to!”

On releasing the album, O’Neill said: “I am very excited to share this album with the public – my first full length record and a year’s worth of work. I’m really proud of it as a whole; the songs, the production, the arrangements, the artwork, everything. As Kate Bush said “Albums are like diaries” – so this album for me is a few years worth of journaling!”

The release of Ghost Of You will be celebrated with an exclusive album launch event at 229 in London on 26 April, presented by TalentBanq and sponsored by Campfire Gin; all tickets include a signed, pre-release copy of the album. This kicks off a run of European shows throughout the summer, with further dates and festivals to be announced:
